Last week we welcomed two groups of students to WANS. The first is made up of students from Georgia who came to our university under the Erasmus+ programme. They represent two universities – Sokhumi State University and Georgian State Teaching University of Physical Education and Sport. Both of these universities are located in Tbilisi. The second group are students from Alikhan Bokeikhan University, based in Semey, Kazakhstan. who are studying at WANS as part of an academic mobility programme based on based on the ABU President’s grant.
At a meeting organised by the Erasmus+ Office, the guests were welcomed by Dorota Sokołowska, PhD – Vice-Rector for Education and International Cooperation, Anna Iwacewicz-Orłowska, PhD – Dean of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, and Urszula Baranowska, PhD – Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Tourism. – We hope that the time you spend at our university will not only be a time of fruitful learning, but also an opportunity to discover the charms of our city and region. We also encourage you to travel all over Poland in your free time – said Ms Sokołowska.
The students received gift bags from us. We warmly welcome you to the Eastern European University of Applied Sciences in Bialystok!
