Learning a foreign language doesn’t have to be boring at all! With such an attitude and willingness to act, our university was visited last week by professor Nana Akhobadze and professor Pikria Toria from Sokhumi State University in Tbilisi. Both ladies teach at the Faculty of Humanities at the Georgian university.
Thanks to their university’s participation in the Erasmus+ program in cooperation with WANS, the two lecturers conducted workshops for students of the Faculty of Economic Sciences and the Faculty of Physical Education and Tourism. It certainly wasn’t boring – quizzes, puzzles, logic games and numerous references to contemporary pop culture greatly enhanced the classes. There was also an opportunity to meet with university authorities and a short but very intense trip to Suprasl.
We already have an invitation to Georgia – and we hope that the students and employees of SSU will visit us again!
